Canadian Obesity Network’s Students and New Professionals at Memorial University

Yesterday, on the last day of my visit to St. John’s, I had the pleasure of meeting with the Canadian Obesity Network’s Student and New Professional (CON-SNP) group for an informal meet and greet.

It was a tremendous pleasure to meet with these very enthusiastic student from multiple disciplines, working on topics ranging from genetics to neuroscience and breast milk feeding to bariatric surgery – it is this diversity in which lies the real strength and future of CON.

Much later in the evening, this meeting was followed by a traditional “Screeching In“, which I guess now makes me an “official” Newfoundlander (for pictures of this, you’ll have to check in later with my my Facebook page).
